The new president of zimbabwe Emmerson has been choosing as one of his deputies, in which the ruling party takeover that led ex-president Robert Mugabe over throw.
Chiwenga, who just retired as army chief, prompting backing that he would receive a post in politics.
The consultation is seen as a success step towards fitting in a vice president.
